22 SeptemberCompetition announcement and theme release — The National Challenge theme and rules are published.
3 OctoberRegistration and entry submission opens — Entries can now be submitted on the website.
31 OctoberSubmission closes — The last day to send in a complete entry.
30 NovemberOffline jury presentations and interviews — Shortlisted participants present before the final jury.

Rules

  • 01 · Who can enterOpen to school students in India. Entries are made in the student's own name.
  • 02 · Original workThe work must be substantially the student's own. Any references or resources used must be credited in the description.
  • 03 · Pick one categoryChoose the category that fits your idea best from the seven challenge categories.
  • 04 · Meet the deadlineEntries must be submitted through the official website before the closing date. Late entries are not evaluated.
  • 05 · Present in person if shortlistedShortlisted participants present their projects to the final jury through offline presentations and interviews.
  • 06 · The jury's decision is finalEntries are evaluated by an expert jury against the published criteria.

FAQ, in short

Who can participate?
Any school student in India can take part. Schools can also join as partner schools by booking an Inspire Session.
Is there a fee?
There is no fee mentioned for registering or submitting through the website. Any fee, if it ever applies, will be stated clearly in the challenge brief before you submit.
Can teams participate?
Entries are made by individual students. If a project is a team effort, mention the team members in the project description so that everyone is credited.
What file formats can I upload?
Images (JPG or PNG), a PDF, and an optional video (MP4). National Challenge entries can also include a presentation PDF and supporting files.
